Where is Santa?

Its almost the start of December and unless you’ve spent the last weekend hiding indoors you will have noticed that Santa meet and greets are popping up all over London. We say meet and greet as some of these events are far more than a visit to a Santa grotto. After a quick spin around the ice rink, pop down to see Santa himself, with our guide to where is Santa.

Battersea Park Zoo

Meet Santa and his furry friends at Battersea Zoo this year and tell him what you would like for Christmas. Plus take part in the fun Christmas stocking search throughout the zoo from 2nd December and collect stickers as you go. 

Fulham Palace

Knock knock, whos there? Is it Santa? Yes it might just be. Book a one to one meeting with Father Christmas himself at the Tudor Great Hall and receive a small gift. Complete your afternoon with a festive walk in the grounds afterwards. From £11 selected dates in December. Booking essential.

Ham House and Garden

Embark on a festive treasure hunt around Ham House and garden in Richmond for hidden presents before meeting Santa Claus in his pop up grotto. Weekends from 10am to 3pm £6 plus a small admission fee for entry into the house.

Winter Wonderland Hyde Park

Meet Santa in the comfort of his fabulous grotto at Santa Land in Hyde park and prepare to be amazed. You can see Santa’s magical toy factory where Santa and his elves spend their time making gifts in time for Christmas. Santa Land is open every day from 24th November. 

Kew Gardens, Surrey

Embark on a magical adventure and wonder through Kew Gardens on their 1 mile illuminated festive light trail in a wonderful after dark experience. Don’t forget to visit the North Pole Village where Santa and his elves will be ready to meet your little ones. From 5pm every day. 

RHS Wisley

Something magical is happening in Wisley at the RHS gardens and its guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit. Come along for songs and stories with Santa plus book a place on their exciting Gingerbread decorating workshop. Available weekends from 29th November.


Hamleys is one of the finest toy stores in the country therefore its no surprise that Santa has set up shop for the festive season. Meet his elves, play games, tell stories and of course meet the magical man himself, Father Christmas. Booking essential. 

Ministry of Christmas, the Ragged School Museum E3 4RR

Visit the capitals only training centre for Father Christmasses and take part in a whole host of interactive activities to help Santa and his elves prepare for the biggest night of the year. Magical experience lasts 60 minutes. Booking essential.

Royal Albert Hall

A festive wonderland awaits at the Royal Albert hall this Christmas which has had a festive take over complete with activities that will keep your little ones entertained. Plus meet Father Christmas at his magical sleigh inside the grand hall.

Santa Cruise

Santa has taken up a new hobby and he's swapped his sleigh for a boat. Jump aboard a festive Santa Cruise and visit Santa in his festive grotto whilst taking in the sights of London along the Thames. Book with City Cruise and look out for their special Christmas timetable.
